RZ Performance Upgrade

Lexus brought Jacob Vu the RZ performance accessory upgrade with no concept and no story: a handful of running footage, two placements to fill, and the trust built on the GX Cat-Back. The ask was a high-performance, high-adrenaline film in two versions, one for social and one for dealer signage.

The upgrade had to read as an upgrade. A black-and-white film look carries the before, clean motion graphics carry the after, and the numbers become the cut's beats. Every frame stays inside Lexus's own language of clean, simple, bold visuals, keeping the RZ's identity as an electric car while putting it in the light of a performance vehicle rather than an everyday EV.

Two finished versions built from existing footage alone, made for screens across Lexus's US dealer network and for Lexus social and web.
