Stripe SKO 2023

Case Study

For this 2-day virtual event, Jacob and Tim Kwong worked with Stripe to develop motion concepts that fit their visual design system.

In production, Jacob served as a post-production liaison to ensure the crew captured appropriately for graphic overlay and designed the visuals of the main stage’s LED backdrop wall. An FAA licensed drone pilot, Jacob also captured the introductory aerial shots of the show with the DJI Mavic 3 Cine and Mavic Air 2.

In post-production, he utilized Stripe’s brand system and designed the concept animations to be used as reference for the primary animators and editor. Jacob assisted multiple areas of post-production, particularly with animation, and in the final conform edit by providing VFX/graphics supervision. With a 2-month turnaround time from concept to finish, this project is much regarded as success in the efficiency of the production and post-production teams.
